Power Kid Natalie meeting is at the finish of Day 5

Natalie has been in the hospital for 60 days. Got a bone marrow transplant and just left yesterday. Her family drove her to Frederick for our finish today, and waited an extra 90 minutes while we were stuck behind a storm. 

I was in tears. 

She is our Power Kid we honor on Friday. 

I feel blessed to have started this trek and watch it grow. We have amazing people on our team and support crew. 

To be supportive and some inspiration for kids and families going through cancer hell is my mission. Having wife Shannon Berk as my partner is a dream come true.
