Taffy Palmer

Hello, I am Taffy Palmer and I am a first time Maryland Trekker. Back in 1995 and 1996 as a teenager I participated in a similar bicycling event called The Cycle Across Maryland and that was a life changing experience for me. This year I am on a new journey towards better health and fitness. I am honored to join the Maryland Trek this year to both kick start this journey and to show my support for such a worthy cause. All proceeds go to Pediatric Oncology programs for children fighting cancer. These children fight every day for the chance at experiencing a longer and healthier life and I am humbled and honored to be a small part of working towards answers and hopefully a cure for childhood cancers.
