This will be my second year on the trek. Last year was worth it every step (and blister) of the way when I got to see smiles on the kid’s faces that we do this for. For those who followed us last year, you know that I had the privilege of doing the trek with my son Allan. This year will be different as he has joined the Air Force to pursue his goal as an elite Pararescue Jumper. I am motivated to carry on without him. Thankful that I have the ability to help these children, seeing these kids smile is my number one goal. Raising money for this charity, helping these children through their hardships, and continuing the journey for my son, I will make a change for the children in need.
